Naruto: Next Gen Ch73: Approaching Conflict

    After walking all the way back to the Hidden Leaf Village, almost a weeks journey, they found something truly shocking. Hinata was standing side-by-side with Sakura at the gate, her Byakugan was active, and she had a really serious look on her face. As they got closer, Liaf noticed that she was wearing a war flak too. "Hey uh...what's going on Granny?" Liaf called, but it wasn't long before he noticed that there were many shinobi out here by the gate. All wearing flats and all of them looked like they were ready for a fight. Next he noticed her Sage Mode as he got within ten feet. "Granny, why are you in Sage Mode?" He asked. She didn't even look at him as she answered. "Liaf, Temari, Sora, you three go inside and make sure you get all the villagers into their homes or the nearest safe building as quickly as possible. This is an A-Rank mission right now." she said. "Granny, what's happening?" Liaf persisted.
    Finally, Hinata looked at him. "Look out there with your Byakugan." She told him. So Liaf looked out in the same direction as Hinata, and there he saw something quite unexpected. Hundreds of white men standing at the tree line. All of them were Zetsu. "Whoa!! What's going on right now Granny?" He asked her. "Liaf, just do as I told you and go inside and make sure all the villagers get inside someplace safe." Liaf would have done as she said, but he was shocked, scared even! He couldn't fathom how they would take on so many Zetsu right now in their state. There looked to be a few hundred of them, but there couldn't be more than a hundred and fifty shinobi out here.
    "Granny... Th-there's so many of them...H-how are we g-gonna fight therm all?? We could barely t-take one of them with Abiki and Taiew alongside us! That was...only about a month ago!"
    "Liaf, listen to me. That was back then. You were tired, I wasn't expecting his power to be so much drastically higher than when I fought his clones in the war. But we're prepared this time. He won't get through us, now go!" She yelled. Liaf nodded this time and followed the others into the village. 
    "As soon as I'm done in here, I'm gonna go back out and help Granny." Liaf thought. He rushed through the village getting people into homes and buildings and even into each others homes if their own was too far to be considered safe. "Just you wait Granny, I'll be out there shortly! I promise!"
